GeoGallery Flumserberg
There is plenty to admire for young and old on the approximately 4 km long high trail. Lined up like in an art gallery, you can marvel at, touch and experience fossils and weathering phenomena.
At more than 15 stations, visitors get an exciting insight into the formation of the Alps and the power of tectonics as well as general and interesting information on geology. The trail starts at the Maschgenkamm mountain station and circles the "Ziger". The second section of the trail, suitable for prams, leads from the Maschgenkamm in serpentines down to Maschgenlücke and from there on level ground to the Prodkamm mountain station.
Along the way "tectonic" loungers or benches invite you to enjoy the fantastic panoramic view (of the Churfirsten and Lake Walen, among others). There is also a rest area with a fireplace for a picnic or campfire on the way. A dreamlike place in the tectonic arena of Sardona, which has been awarded the title of World Natural Heritage Site for its visibility of alpine mountain formation.
