During a guided tour you will gain exciting insights into the history of the Tamina Gorge and the Old Baths of Pfäfers. The expert guide accompanies you on a fascinating journey through the gorge and tells you about the history of the originof the thermal spring. During the tour you will learn everything about the centuries-old bathing culture and the importance of the thermal springs for people. You will learn about the special healing power of the water and visit the baroque bathhouse that shaped the region in the 17th century.

Arrival: There is a general ban on driving to the Old Baths Pfäfers. Access only possible by post bus, Rösslipost or on foot. Cars, bicycles and e-scooters are prohibited along the entire route. By car: Parking in Bad Ragaz in the multi-storey car park center and Tamina Therme/Casino, as well as Park&Rail at Bad Ragaz railway station.
By bus: The Schluchtenbus departs every hour in 15 minutes from Bad Ragaz railway station to Alter Bad Pfäfers. Other stops are Bad Ragaz Post and Bad Ragaz Tobelbrücke. Please note the lunch break of the Schluchtenbus, see timetable.
