If you would like to take a closer look behind the scenes, a guided tour of the show dairy with cheese tasting is recommended or you can even take on the role of a dairymaid yourself. In the traditional cheese dairy you can make your own cheese, over an open fire like in the alp and traditional cheese dairy Tannenboden built around the turn of the century. Combine the guided tour with a subsequent lunch such as fondue or racclette.
The traditional cheese dairy is part of the Tannenbodenalp show dairy, which has a themed playground, sales rooms for alpine products and other attractions.
